A new restaurant has opened in Newmarket town centre. 

Potro Lounge opened its doors at 58 High Street on Wednesday, September 4. 

Owned by Loungers plc, which runs other Suffolk restaurants including Prado Lounge in Sudbury and Edmundo Lounge in Bury St Edmunds, the new restaurant opened in the former Barclays Bank and created 30 jobs for the community.

There is also a full kids’, gluten-free and vegan menu.

Potro Lounge Newmarket is open from 9am to 11pm Sunday to Thursday, and 9am to 12am Friday and Saturday.
