With the turn of a new season, some eateries have announced new menus. Here are three restaurants in Suffolk with new menus that are worth a visit.
1. The Swan
Where: Westerfield Road, Westerfield, IP6 9AJ
The Swan, in Westerfield, announced that it has brought in a winter menu, perfect for cosy, comforting meals.
The pub said the braised ox cheek and winter vegetable stew has been particularly popular so far but traditional pub classics like fish and chips remain on the menu.
The Swan won a TripAdvisor travellers' choice award in 2022 and is part of the Deben Inns collection of pub/restaurants.
Two courses cost £25.95 and three courses are £30.95.
2. The Crown
Where: 90 High Street, Bildeston IP7 7EB
Recently named as one of two Suffolk pubs with the best roast dinners in the country, the The Crown has just announced a new chef and menu after a revamp.
The eatery prides itself on "estate to plate" style cooking, growing produce at Nedging Hall less than one mile away.
The Crown has also renovated its bedrooms and dining areas.
The festive menu begins on December 1. Two courses cost £35 and three courses are £45.
3. Red Lodge Steakhouse
Where: 70 Turnpike Road, Red Lodge, IP28 8LB
Red Lodge Steakhouse and Bar has announced a winter menu, ready for Christmas bookings.
Featuring, rump steaks, ostrich stuffing burgers and of course roast turkey, the seasonal menu makes for a cosy meal.
Two courses cost £25.95 and three courses are £29.95.
