"25,000 WASPI women have died in that time. How much longer do we have to wait?”
Those are the words of a Suffolk WASPI campaigner who is among thousands of women that have headed to London to demand action from the government.
The mood is defiant in Parliament Square with chants echoing on the day the Chancellor sets her budget.
Since 2015, WASPI women has been demanding for the government to apologise and take action after changing the age women could withdraw their state pension form 60 to 65 - but failed to make them aware of it for more than two years.
Today, women from all over the county are in London, demanding their their voices be heard.
Suffolk coordinators Karen Sheldon and Judi Moss are amongst the crowds.
Mrs Sheldon said: "WASPI women are so disappointed and fed up at the delay by the Labour government at getting the Ombudsman’s report looked at and in front don’t the House of Commons for MPs.
"It’s been 223 days since the ombudsman published his report in March. 25,000 WASPI women have died in that time. How much longer do we have to wait?”
