The police helicopter was called to help trace a missing person in Suffolk last night.
Officers were searching the north mid-Suffolk area on Tuesday evening.
The National Police Air Service helicopter was seen circling over Bacton near Stowmarket.
The helicopter also travelled over Mendlesham, Wickham Skeith and Gislingham.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police confirmed the missing person was found at around 10.15pm.
