A train station car park will be shut until next year while it undergoes demolition and rebuilding works.
Colchester station car park was closed in July after a survey found safety issues in the upper deck which showed signs of deterioration.
Two phases of work will be carried out, with the final works set to be completed by the end of 2025.
Motorists can still use the other parts of the station car park and use the existing roadway, walkway and traffic management system which have been in place since the summer.
Phase one will include the demolition of the deck, which is due to take place on Monday, November 4, and should be completed in December.

Phase two is due to be completed by spring 2025, and will see a new roadway and walkway opened, traffic lights and signage.
New parking spaces will also be added, with this work due to be finished by the end of 2025.
Simone Bailey, asset management director for Greater Anglia, said: “We know many people choose to park at our station, and this essential work will improve the car park at Colchester.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused while the work takes place, and we would like to thank customers for their patience and understanding.”
