A new dental practice has been launched in a Suffolk market town aiming to "fill the void in dentistry created by inaccessibility to NHS dental services".
Dentist Chris Kelly and dental hygienist Victoria Hough have opened Woodbridge Dental Care, in Church Street, Woodbridge.
They spotted an opportunity for a dental practice in the town as many of the patients at their other practice, Leiston Dental Care in Leiston High Street, were from Woodbridge.

Although the practice is private, Mr Kelly said the aim was to provide "affordable dentistry" with dental plans starting from £15.95 a month.
He said: "Our aim is to fill the void in dentistry created by inaccessibility to NHS dental services and to provide affordable private dentistry, with Denplan packages starting from just £15.95 each month and offering further discount on treatment costs in addition to worldwide dental travel insurance."
He added the Woodbridge practice would also be engaging with local schools to "demonstrate tooth brushing and oral hygiene regimes".

The grade II-listed Victorian townhouse in which the practice resides had previously been home to a dentists run by dental surgeon Andreas Zeck prior to his sudden death in 2020.
The business partners took on the lease for the premises at the end of 2023 and have since spent more than £250,000 renovating and refitting the building by adding three surgeries, including a designated hygienist with a downstairs waiting room for those unable to use stairs.

Mr Kelly said: "We are business partners who jointly established Leiston Dental Care at the site for a previous dental practice in 2022.
"We recognised the great potential to do something similar in Woodbridge as a good proportion of the new patients we were seeing at Leiston were travelling from Woodbridge and this seemed like a perfect opportunity."
