A west Suffolk café and garden centre which has served its community for more than 10 years has announced it will close.

Tuddenham Nurseries and The Granary in The High Street will close permanently on December 22.

The business, which sells plants, gardening supplies and home-cooked meals, says it has been struggling recently with changing market conditions and is now unable to continue operating.

Adam Tilbrook, director of the nursery,  said: "It is with a heavy heart that Tuddenham Nurseries announces it will be closing its operations permanently on December 22nd.

"After 10 years of serving the community with quality plants, gardening supplies and home-cooked meals, this decision was not made lightly.

"Despite our efforts to adapt to changing market conditions, we find ourselves unable to continue."

Over the years, the nursery has offered local gardening enthusiasts and hungry customers with a wide selection of plants, meals, snacks and advice.

Mr Tilbrook added: "We want to express our deepest gratitude to our loyal customers and dedicated staff who have been instrumental in our journey. Your support has made Tuddenham Nurseries a beloved part of the community, and we will cherish the memories we've created together.

"Thank you for being a part of the Tuddenham Nurseries family. We will miss serving you."

A closing sale will be in place at the shop until the business closes in December.
