The A12 was closed in both directions after a lorry crashed into a ditch near a Suffolk village.
Emergency services were called to the A12 near Yoxford, in east Suffolk, at around 1.30pm to reports of a lorry crashing into a ditch.
Police said there were no serious injuries but the vehicle was partially blocking the road.
They also said that the road needed to be closed in both directions to allow recovery to clear the scene.
This comes as temporary traffic lights were also put in place near the junction with B1122 Middleton Road, causing further delays.
The road was later reopened in both directions and traffic is now flowing normally.
