More than 200 people attended the first Sizewell C and Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) jobs fair.
The event, held in Leiston, aimed to create different employment opportunities for local people.
Sizewell C is generating thousands of new jobs, apprenticeships, and training in the region.
Chris Young, head of employment affairs unit at Sizewell C, said: " The number of people who turned up was well beyond what we were expecting, and we are thrilled at the enthusiasm for the project."
The event featured Sizewell C suppliers, educational organisations, and charities, all offering advice and connections.
Julia Nix, East Anglia district manager for DWP, said: "When we get the public sector, the voluntary sector, and the private sector together like this, that’s when the magic really starts to happen."
The event was attended by people of all ages and backgrounds.
Sizewell C has pledged that a third of the peak construction roles will come from the local area.
The project also announced a new employability hub in Lowestoft, in partnership with East Coast College, to assist job seekers.
