A Suffolk bakery group is now fully operational after the completion of the kitchen at its latest store.
Two Magpies, which owns a number of stores across the region, began operating from the former Barclay's Bank in Market Square earlier this year.
It has only been able to offer a limited lunch and breakfast menu while the team secure planning permission to complete its on-site kitchen.
The Framlingham site is now the largest bakery and cafe in the group at over 3,000 square feet.
Yasmin Wyatt, Two Magpies' operations director, said: “With this being a conservation site, it took longer to obtain planning permission for the kitchen than we expected.
"Fortunately we were able to open the cafe in April with a limited menu.
"Now we are thrilled to be celebrating the full opening of Framlingham as it was always intended and to offer customers a much larger choice of meal options all day long.
"We hope that customers really enjoy the new additions to the menu, as well as the option to grab a quick coffee or baked treat to takeaway if they prefer."
Two Magpies operates a central bakery in Walpole, a bake school and cafe in Darsham, as well as five bakery/cafes in Aldeburgh, Norwich, Framlingham, Blakeney and Woodbridge across Norfolk and Suffolk.
There are also four further 'Mini Magpies' sites in Wells-next-the-Sea, Southwold, Beccles and Holt.
Now it is complete the site will be offering the full Two Magpies' menu which includes freshly baked sourdough bread, hand-laminated pastries, sweet treats and takeaway baked goods, as well as 50 covers for those looking to dine in.
The Two Magpies cafe and bakery in Framlingham is open from 8am to 5pm, seven days a week, offering a full menu from up to 50 covers and an extensive range of takeaway baked goods.
