The restaurant will be open seven days a week from 11am to 7pm and is expected to create around 70 new jobs for people living in the area.

The first 500 customers inside the store received a 'Spin to Win' token for the chance to win free food and Taco Bell merchandise.

The first 50 people in line also got a goody bag with treats and merchandise.

The fast food chain also plans to open a second unit in the town.

Taco Bell was given planning permission to convert the old Carphone Warehouse unit on the park into a takeaway back in August 2022.
