Drivers will be left facing a 20 mile diversion route while a road is closed.
Middleton Road in Sudbury will be closed between 7pm on Monday October 21 to 5am on Tuesday October 22.
Highway workers will be carrying out urgent repairs to the yellow and centre lines.
It comes after the road was previously closed in May due to Gigaclear work.
There will be a diversion along A131, Woodcocks Road Clays Hill Road, The Street, Hill House Road, Cricks Road, Lawshall’s Hill, Colne Park Road to the A1124.
Drivers will then be directed down Bures Road, Colne Road, Parsonage Hill, Lamarsh Hill, Springetts Hill, Langley Hill, Bell Hill, Henny Road, Lamarsh Hill, Henny Street, Lamarsh Road, Henny Street, Lower Road, Middleton Road and vice versa.
