Police seized a vehicle after a driver was caught without insurance or a valid driving licence.
Officers stopped the car in Haverhill after it was seen heading through the town without headlights in darkness.
The driver was found to have no driving licence and no insurance.
A police spokesman said the vehicle was "linked to drug dealing with drug paraphernalia found inside."
Under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, the vehicle and driver were searched but nothing further was found.

A traffic offence report was issued and the driver was reported to court for driving otherwise in accordance with a driving licence, no insurance and headlights not lit dark.
Officers also seized the vehicle.
A spokesman for the police said: "It is well known in policing that often the smallest traffic offence can lead on to uncovering more serious issues as in this case tonight.
"The driver was also breath tested which was negative."
