From road closures to planning applications on listed buildings, here are five public notices people in Suffolk should be aware of this week.

1. Planning permission for The Railway pub

Location: 243 Foxhall Road, Ipswich

Date: Registered for the week ending Thursday, October 17

Erection of a two-storey side extension comprising two flats.

Erection of a two-storey rear extension comprising a garage, bin store, and ancillary storage. Erection of enlarged front porch.

Change of use of the first floor of the public house (Sui Generis) to include two flats and associated works.

2. Planning permission on a listed building

Location: 3 Henley Road, Ipswich

Date: Registered for the week ending Thursday, October 17

Application for Prior Approval under Class MA for change of use from commercial use to 11 self-contained dwellings for Ipswich School.

3. Planning permission on a listed building

Location: 2 The Warren, Lacey Street, Ipswich

Date: Registered for the week ending Thursday, October 17

For the reconstruction of parapet.

4.  Road closure of the A143

Location: A143 Tayfen Road, Bury St Edmunds

Date: Saturday, October 26 until Sunday, November 3

Suffolk County Council intends to order a closure of the road from The Lantern to the junction with Station Hill to install utilities to a new development.

Pedestrians and cyclists will still have access.

The diversion route will be the A143, the A1302, the A14 and vice versa.

5. Road closures in Stowmarket

Location: Tavern Street, Finborough Road and Childer Road

Date: Four months from Monday, October 28 until Monday, November 11.

Phased closures will be in place throughout Stowmarket for the replacement of gas mains.

Tavern Street will be closed for ten days from Monday, October 28 until Thursday, November 7.

Finborough Road will be shut for 90 days from Monday, November 4 until Sunday, February 2.

Childer Road will be closed at the junction of Finborough Road on Monday, November 11.
