An east Suffolk road which is prone to flooding has reopened after a nearly week long closure.
The B1127 Potters Bridge between Wrentham and Southwold often becomes impassable after heavy rainfall.
Last Monday (October 7) the route was covered with around 173mm of water.
Later that week on Wednesday, October 9, Suffolk Highways closed the road on request of Suffolk police following reports it was impassable.
However, a spokesman for the authority has confirmed the road reopened on Thursday, October 17.

Potters Bridge often becomes impassable when water levels in nearby Eastern Broad become too high and cause flooding on the road.
Representatives from Suffolk Highways and the Environment Agency agreed to a series of measures to try to reduce flooding on the road at a meeting which took place in January.
The measures included implementing better road signage, clearing and jetting drains and cutting channels into the verge to enable water to drain away.
