A car was damaged after two males were spotted throwing traffic cones from a bridge onto the A14.
Officers received reports of objects being thrown from a pedestrian overbridge between junction 43 and 42, in Bury St Edmunds, at around 6pm on Tuesday.
During the incident, a Ford Fiesta collided with a traffic cone on the road.

Nobody was injured but the car was damaged in the incident.
Two white males were then seen leaving the footbridge on Raynham Road shortly after.

Police say both suspects were seen wearing black clothing and one had a push scooter.
A similar incident also took place on Monday evening in the same area at around 5.50pm.

PC Jonathan Burke from the Roads and Armed Policing Team said; "This incident is being taken extremely seriously by police.
"Although on both occasions no one has been injured, the implications of throwing objects in front of moving traffic could be catastrophic, leading to serious injury or even death."
