Emergency services have been called to a serious crash on the A14 near Newmarket that has closed a carriageway.
The incident happened at about 6pm on the A14 westbound between junction 37 for Newmarket and junction 36 for the A11 when a lorry and a car crashed into each other.
Cambridgeshire Police, the East of England Ambulance Service, Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Service and the East Anglian Air Ambulance are all at the scene.

The decision was made by emergency services to close the eastbound carriageway between junctions 35 and 37 at about 6.25pm.
Following the serious incident, the A11 northbound was also closed between the A1304 and the A14.
A diversion route is in place:
Those travelling westbound are advised to exit at J37 and at the end of the slip road turn right onto the A142 towards Ely.
At the roundabout with the A1123 near Downfields Park take the first exit.
Then follow the A1123 westbound to Streetham and take the first exit at the roundabout with the A10.
Follow the A10 southbound to J33 of the A14.
To join the westbound A14 take the fourth exit from the roundabout.

The AA Traffic Map says that traffic remains slow in the surrounding areas.
The extent of any injuries is currently unknown and emergency services remain on the scene.
