Over two days and three separate sessions, Christchurch Park played host to Oktoberfest goers who were able to take part in the Bavarian tradition and celebrate the festival.
In a big blue tent near the playground in the Ipswich park, people were able to listen to an Oompah band who performed live, try traditional German food such as currywurst and bratwursts, and enjoy the alcohol that was on offer.

A range of German drinks served in a variety of cup sizes from half pints to beer jugs were served for people to enjoy.
Inside the tent, there was a large stage, a huge bar area and a range of flags displayed hanging from the roof.

People were also dressed in the traditional lederhosen and dirndl costumes that are commonly seen at Oktoberfest events in Munich.
There were three sessions, one on Friday evening, one Saturday lunchtime and one on Saturday evening, with each session hosting around 2,000 people.
