A man in his 60s was assaulted after an altercation in a west Suffolk town.
A vehicle is reported to have been seen accelerating toward a pedestrian crossing in Mill Street in Mildenhall at some time between 7.50pm and 7.55pm on Saturday.
The driver, a man in his 20s or early 30s, reportedly then stopped the car and an altercation occurred between himself and the pedestrian.

Police say the pedestrian, a man in his 60s, was then assaulted.
He suffered cuts to his face and his glasses were broken in the attack.

The driver is described as being white, about 6ft tall, with medium to long hair of a light colour.
He was driving a white BMW and was reported to have driven off at speed following the incident.

Officers would like to speak to any witnesses or anyone with any information, including residents with video doorbells or drivers with dash cameras in their vehicles that may have recorded the incident.
