A pub giant has said it is 'exploring all options' for a town pub which has been listed on Rightmove for £425,000.
In June, Greene King appealed for a new tenant to take on The Gym Bar at 3 Risbygate Street, described as being "in need of a new direction", after they revealed the tenant was set to leave.
The now empty property has since been listed on Rightmove marketed by Everard Cole Ltd in Cambridge for offers in the region of £425,000.
A Greene King spokesperson said: "We are exploring all options available to us for the Gym Bar, which includes selling the pub for existing use or leasing it to a new tenant, and we look to be able to share more information in the future."
The listing explains the site is situated over three floors with a large main bar area, a courtyard garden, three-bedroom living accommodation and a commercial kitchen.
The Grade-II listed building comes with a late night licence and is available with vacant possession.
It is describe as having an unfurnished open plan bar area with a large servery, wooden floors and exposed beams.
It also has a large inglenook fireplace, toilets and a DJ booth with a seating area for up to 70 covers.
There is also an "extensive basement cellar" and internal access to the first floor which includes a lounge, dining room, two or three bedrooms, and a kitchen.
Other Greene King pubs in the area currently listed on the brewery's website as seeking new tenants include The George in Hadleigh, the Norfolk Terrier in Thetford and the Goat & Boot in Colchester.
Anyone interested in the pub should call Everard Cole Ltd in Cambridge.
