Two potholes in a Suffolk town have been awaiting repair for nearly 12 months, according to a Suffolk councillor.

The potholes on Chauntry Road in Haverhill was outlined with a yellow line by a highways engineer some time ago.

However, it has since been left in the same condition with water and dirt regularly filling the two holes.

"Apparently, it was due for repair nearly 12 months ago and somehow got missed when the highways contractor Milestone took over from the previous contractor."

This comes after councillor David Smith expressed his disappointment at the quality of pothole filling on Clarendon Road.
