The owners of a village pub have announced it will be closed temporarily.
The Plough Inn in Hundon, near Clare, has been shut, the owners have confirmed.
A statement on the pub's website states that although the pub is closed they are still accepting bookings for events via telephone or email.
The statement reads: "We regret to inform you that our pub is temporarily closed.
"However, we are still here to help you plan your future events and gatherings.
"Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon.
"In the meantime, if you have any questions or would like to make a booking, please don’t hesitate to contact us."
The pub has always been loved for the views from its beer garden.
Overlooking the best the Suffolk countryside has to offer, the pub's beer garden was ranked as one of the best in the county.
