Emergency services are at the scene of a crash on the A14.

Suffolk police were called by the East of England Ambulance Service just before 3.40pm to reports of two lorries that had collided near junction 37 in Newmarket.

The blockage occurred on the eastbound carriageway, with two lanes currently closed due to a diesel spill. 

There are currently around five miles of queues as a result of the crash, with motorists facing 60 minutes of delays.

Cambridge Police and Suffolk Highways are also in attendance.

East of England Ambulance Service said: "One paramedic car was sent to the A14 near Swaffham Prior this afternoon following reports of a road traffic collision.

"One man was assessed at the scene, but no hospital transport was required."
