A seafront restaurant is hosting a series of film screenings alongside a three-course meal. 

Movie nights are happening at The Pier in Harwich, in north Essex, throughout autumn and winter. 

The next event at the Milsom-owned venue is The Devil Wears Prada - which will take place on Thursday, November 7. 

In the new year the restaurant is set to host a pre-Valentine's Day screening of Bridget Jones ahead of the release of the fourth film, as well as a showing of Margot Robbie's blockbuster from last summer Barbie, with guests encouraged to wear pink.

Tickets cost £50 per person and includes the movie ticket, a welcome drink and a three-course dinner.

A menu of food options will be available prior to each event. 

A spokesman for Milsoms said: "This year we are offering a special stay offer when you book multiple cinema nights.

"Book four events and get £50 per person off an overnight stay."
