A man has been arrested after a cannabis grow and suspected class A drugs were found at a property.
Officers from Halesworth police and a Suffolk police dog unit attended a property in Leiston on Thursday morning after a drugs warrant was obtained.

Upon entering the property police found a number of suspect items, including a substance that appeared to be cannabis and another substance that appeared to be a class A powder.
First, a small amount of suspected cannabis was found in a box in a cupboard.
Then, more suspected cannabis was also found inside two jars in a drawer.
Later a suspected class A substance was found inside the kitchen.

Upstairs, a cannabis grow in the loft of the property was also found by police.
Electrical wiring and growing equipment were seen inside the grow room.

A man was then arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, possession with intent to supply class B drugs and cultivation of cannabis.
He was taken to a nearby police station for questioning.
