A hotel has shared its delight after being one of the first recipients of a top award from a prestigious guide.
The Michelin Guide has introduced new One, Two and Three Key accolade distinctions for outstanding hotels across the UK and Ireland.
The awards replicate the globally-renowned Michelin Star given to restaurants and are a way to honour hotels that offer exceptional stays.
The Swan in Southwold was one of the 123 hotels chosen this year as it received a One Key distinction.
Nick Attfield, director of hospitality and retail at Adnams, said: "As a team so committed to providing guests with an unforgettable stay here in Suffolk, we are delighted the Swan, Southwold has been recognised by the Michelin Guide as one of the best hotels in the UK one of only two in East Anglia.
"We have been singled out for the splendour of décor and design matched wit the very best of relaxed service - everything we have ever strived to achieve since our major refurbishment in 2017.
"This accolade is a testament to the hotel's team and all the more special to know we are among the first ever recipients of the new Key awards."
