Police have been seen flooding an Ipswich road as they attend an incident near the Waterfront.
Officers arrived at the scene in Duke Street at the junction with Coprolite Street at around 8.30pm on Thursday.
A group of onlookers crowded the area, near Ipswich Waterfront, creating some commotion.
The nature of the incident is not yet known however it is reported to have de-escalated at about 8.45pm.
The incident comes after a police presence was seen outside the Tesco store in St Matthew's Street earlier in the day.
A man was taken to Ipswich Hospital following a car crashing into the building, while the Tesco store remained open despite the incident.
