Café 24 near Stowmarket in East of England Business finals

Café 24 at Stonham Barns Park, near Stowmarket, has been announced as a finalist in the East of England Business Awards.

The achievement comes after the Cafe also recently underwent a major facelift in August, with a newly constructed outdoor area and colourful seating.

Owner Sarah Shaw, who has achieved her late mothers' lifelong dream to run a café, said: "To be invited to the awards as a finalist is such an achievement and I am honoured - and a little overwhelmed - to be a part of this event."

"I will be taking my whole team with me to the presentation as this achievement would be for us all if we were lucky enough to win!

So, it’s a dream to be able to follow in her footsteps and do what she wanted to do.

"The whole process of opening the business has been a roller coaster ride – in a good way.  We have all had so much fun bringing good food and company to our customers, and we do want to continue to build on our success in the future."

The business says its focus on quality seasonal food and exceptional service has helped to evolve its offering and create a space where people can meet up and enjoy spending time together.

Café 24 serves a range of seasonal products from Mozzarella, Sun-Blushed Tomato, Pesto and Roasted Pepper Panini to Suffolk Smoked Ham, Egg and Chips, Delicious Lasagne and a weekly Sunday roast.

The award winners of the East of England Business Awards will be named at the Radisson Blue Hotel at London Stansted Airport later this year.
