A new café has been unveiled in east Suffolk after a bakery owner started her new venture.
Pinch 2.0 has been launched in Saxmundham by takeaway bakery owner Alice Norman.
Ms Norman, who is head chef and owns Pinch, decided to evolve her ideas after spending four successful years on Maple Farm.
Ms Norman said: “After working in the London restaurant scene for nearly a decade, Pinch gave me the opportunity to live out any chef’s dream - being on a farm, right next to the produce we use.
"Being limited by what is available locally has pushed me to be more creative, but everything starts with Maple Farm and what’s growing right under my feet.

"Expanding Pinch from a takeaway pastry shop into a proper café has also made the space more adaptable.
"Once we’re settled, I have plans to host evenings on the farm with chef friends from across the UK, something I feel is missing in the area."
Pinch opened in 2021 after Ms Norman moved home to Suffolk from London. She had been head chef at Woodhouse Restaurant Group's Emilia.
The café is taking a "relaxed, no-fuss, no-cutlery approach", she said, featuring Roman-style pizzas, frozen slushies, cocktails, wine and baked goods on the menu.

Ms Norman works closely with local farmers to ensure everything can be sourced from nearby.
She uses local suppliers such as butcher Salter & King, Orford’s beloved Pump Street Bakery and Bungay’s Fen Farm Dairy.
The new Pinch 2.0 café is open Thursdays and Fridays from 9am to 2.30pm, Saturdays from 9am to 3pm and Sundays from 9am to 2pm. It has eight seats inside and 44 seats outside.
