Speed cameras clocked a motorcyclist travelling at nearly 130mph on the A14.

On Saturday afternoon, a police spokesman confirmed that a motorcyclist was caught travelling on the A14 at 129mph near Barham, close to Claydon, just north of Ipswich.

Police said a postal notice of intended prosecution will be sent to the registered owner of this vehicle.

The owner will have to provide the details of who was riding the vehicle and this individual will then be summoned to court.

Officers warned that this type of driving is extremely dangerous and that speeding is one of the 'fatal four' offences which pose a risk to drivers' lives.
