An hotel on the Suffolk coast has been given a prestigious accolade from the Michelin Guide.
In April of this year the Michelin Guide debuted the Michelin Key, a new distinction to recognise the best hotels in the UK.
Michelin-recommended hotels can earn One, Two or Three Keys with One Key meaning the venue offers a very special stay while Three Keys means it is an extraordinary stay.
This month 72 hotels across Great Britain and Ireland received a One Key award including The Swan in Southwold.

The Adnams-owned hotel underwent a major refurbishment in 2017 which added two new restaurants - The Still Room and The Tap Room.
The brewery worked in collaboration with design studio Project Orange to transform the 35 bedrooms into a celebration of the company's coastal locating and heritage.
Inside the hotel guests can find specially commissioned feature pieces from local artists and light-fittings hand blown in Suffolk.
An inspector for the Michelin guide said: "Among the chief attractions of the Suffolk seaside town of Southwold is the Adnams brewery and distillery, and The Swan is the Adnams extension into the world of hospitality.
"This is a very thorough renovation of a classic hotel, leaving its Georgian façade in its original form and updating the interiors in a vibrant, playful style reminiscent of some of England's finer country-house hotels; the rooms prominently feature antique-style furniture in ultra-modern colours.

The Swan has been established before as a world class destination and was recently named one of the best beach hotels in the UK by travel guide Condé Nast.
A night at the hotel with breakfast included starts from £250 for one guest.
