A man from west Suffolk has been charged with rape, police have said.
Scott Jackson, 34, was arrested on Saturday, September 28 following inquiries after an incident was reported to have happened in Norwich the Sunday before.
Jackson, of Wattisfield Road, Walsham le Willows, near Bury St Edmunds, was taken to Wymondham police investigation centre for questioning and was charged with the rape of a female over the age of 16.
He appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court on Monday and has been remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Crown Court on October 28.
