A new children's book about Bury St Edmunds has raised more than £200 for charity.
The book, released by the arc shopping centre, focuses on the work of the Bury St Edmunds Rickshaw and is part of the 'Bury Beautiful World' workshop series.
Written by local author Chris Dixon, it was launched on Sunday, September 15 - raising £125 during the event.
Further promotion at three local schools on Friday, September 13 brought in an additional £120.
This makes a total of £245 raised so far.
The book, titled 'Ride the Rickshaw', is the first to be dedicated to the Bury St Edmunds Rickshaw.
It aims to educate children and encourage them to help in the community.
The story follows Pete the Rickshaw Rider, Gina and Susan as they explore the town's landmarks, including the Nutshell pub and St Edmundsbury Cathedral.
All proceeds from the book, which costs £5 and is available exclusively at Waterstones in the arc shopping centre, will be donated to the Bury St Edmunds Rickshaw.
