A road is blocked after a large van veered off the road and hit a telegraph pole near Stowmarket.
Police were called to Westhorpe Road, between Wyverstone and Westhorpe, at 1.40pm on Monday after reports that a vehicle had come off the road.
A large white van appeared to have crashed after ripping a telegraph pole out of the ground on the country lane.
The road was closed by police while the vehicle awaited recovery.
UK Power Networks confirmed that it was a telegraph pole that had been damaged, not an electrical.
