A person was taken to hospital after a huge emergency service presence was seen near a Suffolk town centre.
Police, ambulance crews and the air ambulance were called to Alder Way in Sudbury at about 4.30pm on Sunday.
The road was blocked as emergency services dealt with the incident.
A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service has since confirmed that a patient was transported to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds for treatment.
No further details were given by the ambulance service and the person's condition is not known.
Some five police cars and four ambulances were in attendance at the scene of the incident.
The air ambulance also landed in a nearby park.
