A large search for a missing person in a Suffolk town is being conducted near a lake.
Police initially attended Needham Lake, off Coddenham Road on Friday afternoon and began an initial search.
The searches – of the lake and its surroundings – are continuing today, with officers receiving assistance from Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue and Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service.
An eye witness said there are around four or five police cars in attendance, as well as spotting fire engines at the scene.
Members of the public are asked to avoid the area of the lake whilst this work is ongoing.
