Drivers were warned to avoid the A11 in west Suffolk after it became flooded due to torrential rain.
The A11 was waterlogged between the Fiveways roundabout and Red Lodge in north-west Suffolk on Thursday evening.
Police advised drivers to avoid the roads unless absolutely necessary and said anyone travelling should drive slowly and expect delays.
They also warned that various other roads across the Forest Heath area of Mildenhall and Thetford were also flooded.
