A total of 39% of the town's trails were described as moderate with Ipswich scoring highly for trails with water views and trails with wildlife, such as the hiking routes at Orwell Country Park.
Located on the edge of the town, Orwell Country Park is a collection of wildlife sites with views over the River Orwell.
The park forms part of the Suffolk & Essex Coasts & Heaths National Landscape and is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including nesting birds.
Other hiking trails in the Ipswich area include Rushmere Common and Fynn Valley River Walks just north of the town.
