Jewellery from the Iron Age, Roman and medieval times have been discovered at a new-build development in mid Suffolk.
Orbit Hones is currently building 46 new homes at Homestead Park, located off The Street in Stonham Aspal, near Stowmarket.
Pre-construction excavations, carried out by Pre-Construct Archaeology (PCA), have revealed a hoard of jewellery from a range of eras.
The discovered jewellery includes 40 Iron Age and Roman brooches and a rare first century AD copper-alloy vessel.
Andy Georgiou, of Orbit Homes, said: "It has been amazing to learn more about the history of Stonham Asapl from the discoveries at Homestead Park.
"We enlisted PCA as part of the pre-construction programme we undertake at every site and we were delighted to see the archaeologists unearth such fascinating finds, which could have otherwise been left undiscovered for more many more years."

It is believed 11 late Iron Age to Roman roundhouses were once located on the site. Earliest occupation is thought to be around 50BC.
The use of the site is tied to agriculture and arable farming.
The discovery follows the sale of the Helmingham Hoard, which was unearthed by George Ridgway in 2019.
More than 680 items discovered by metal detectorist went under the hammer last week at London-based auction Noonan's, selling for £132,865.
They exceeded the estimated price of £75,000.
Mr Ridgway said: "I am absolutely delighted. It was a fantastic experience.
"Obviously a lot of interest was generated from this hoard, which was great.
"I have done this since I was 12 years old. I have always loved history and Roman history has been my absolute passion, so to find what was the largest one of its kind was just a remarkable moment.
"There is so much history out there, and it is wonderful to be able to hold something for that first time."
