The A11 has reopened in both directions following a serious crash.
Emergency services were called to the crash near Red Lodge at about 10.30pm on Monday.
The extent of any injuries and the number of vehicles involved is not yet clear.
The A11 was closed in both directions between the entry and exit slip at the B1085 turn-off.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said drivers were being asked to find alternative routes.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or who was driving in the area that has a dash cam fitted in the vehicle that might have footage that can help police.
