Work has begun on a west Suffolk town centre shop which will become a new Morrisons Daily at the end of a renovation later this month.
The McColl’s store in Market Place in Mildenhall is currently undergoing renovations to open as a Morrisons Daily on Friday, September 27.

The new store will provide a hot food and bakery section, a wider range of grocery options, and a post office service.

A spokeswoman for the store said that the Post Office service will likely take a few months to open as staff will need to be trained and new systems put into place.
McColl's was bought by Morrisons in 2022 and shops across the UK have since been converted into the Morrisons Daily brand.
