A lane on the A14 was closed following a "high impact" crash.
The crash happened at 6.45pm on Friday near Higham on the A14 eastbound between junctions 40 and 41.
National Highways described the incident as a "high impact" road traffic collision, and said delays were "likely" while the lane was closed.
Drivers experienced delays of 40 minutes, with traffic moving at an average speed of 10mph.
The road was fully reopened by 7.45pm.
