A new service station located off the A14 south of Ipswich has opened its doors.

Known as Wherstead Services, the new service station has opened on the A137 in Wherstead - just off junction 56 for the A14.

The new site in Bobbits Lane, which is run by Euro Garages, has eight fuel pumps, four electric vehicle charging points at the front and  four HGV and two AdBlue pumps.

The food service offer at the roadside service station also includes Subway and Greggs outlets.

Earlier this year, the first jobs were advertised for stores inside the service station.
