A new outdoor wedding venue has launched in west Suffolk in the town which is the home of horseracing.

Bedford Lodge Hotel and Spa, in Newmarket, opened its new spa in 2013 and has announced a package that will be including a spa day for newlyweds, two weeks before the big day.

Noel Byrne, chief executive of Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa, said: “We are thrilled to be increasing our wedding offerings to include our stunning outdoor space.

"The demand for outdoor weddings is continuously growing and we are excited to be able to create our couple’s dream day.”

The outdoor venue can host up to 150 guests, all with the backdrop of the rose gardens.

Package prices start at £650 for the civil ceremony and £2,000 for venue hire.

The package includes an executive suite for one night, a spa day for the newlyweds, manicure and pedicure for two, private breakfast dining for the wedding party in the morning, health and fitness club passes and a dedicated wedding coordinator.
