The council has said "it is extremely disappointing" that one of its depots was targeted in a suspected arson attack, causing in excess of £300,000 worth of damage.
Two vehicles were destroyed in the blaze at Brome Industrial Park, near Eye, on Sunday, September 15.
Firefighters from both Suffolk and Norfolk were called to the scene, just off the A140, at about 6.30pm.
A spokesperson for Suffolk Highways said: "It is extremely disappointing that one of our highways depots was subjected to a fire incident over the weekend, which is believed to be arson.
"The incident unfortunately resulted in two vehicles being destroyed."
Suffolk police said in excess of £300,000 in damage was caused after a Ford Transit van and a lorry were burnt to the ground.
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
People were advised by Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service to keep their windows shut at the time of the blaze.
