A misconduct hearing has been set for a Suffolk police officer who is accused of behaving inappropriately with female colleagues.
Stuart Barney is set to appear before a misconduct hearing on October 7 after accusations of sexual misbehaviour.
It is alleged that in 2020 the officer made inappropriate comments, including of a sexual nature, to two female colleagues and that he also poked one of them without consent.
It has been said that in 2022 the officer made inappropriate comments, including of a sexual nature, to a female colleague and he also pulled on her bra strap and ‘pinged it’.
This is said to be a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour.
