The Land Rover Show is returning to Stonham Barns Park near Stowmarket on Sunday, October 6.

Local clubs including Suffolk Land Rover Club will be out in force showcasing classic, modified, and new Land Rovers at the event which debuted last year. Every display car driver plus a passenger will be admitted free of charge.

Exhibits will include Freelander, Discovery, Defender, Evoke and Range Rover and attractions include an auto jumble, club trade stands, live music and food outlets serving throughout the day.

Suffolk Land Rover Club will be providing off-road rides on a specially made course to demonstrate the manoeuvrability, resilience, and handling of the unique 4x4s.

The rides were a runaway success last year with many visitors opting for an off-road ‘experience’ to see how these vehicles could handle the lumps and bumps of the rural terrain.

Lily Wakeling of Stonham Barns Park events team said: "This show hit the ground running last year with its debut.

"There was so much enthusiasm brought to the show from clubs and individuals – and so many and varied 4x4s - that we cannot wait to put it all on again this time.

"Everyone loves a 4x4. They are the backbone of the farming community and bring fun to everyone. It’s so good to have a show to celebrate the wonders of everything 4x4."

Park director Terri Forward said the event was a "mix of excitement, adrenaline and fun".

"We will have all the action and adventure here with back stories from the various exhibits courtesy of their owners. Some of these cars have been through some global challenges and some will have just left the showroom."

Admission is £10 per adult, with free entry for under 12s.
