Drivers will face delays as roadworks cause a diversion 24 miles long.
Stradbroke Road near Stradbroke will be closed from 9.30am until 3.30pm on Monday, September 23, Battlesea Green will also be closed on the same day.
The road is being closed for Openreach works by Suffolk County Council.
The diversion will take drivers around 40 minutes and is 24 miles long.
Road users will be diverted through Stradbroke, Barley Green, Ashfield Green, Fressingfield, Needham, Brockdish, Lower Street, Oakley, Hoxne and vice versa.
