Organised by the award-winning Magnus PR, it will take place at the Gorleston Pavilion on Wednesday, December 18 - with special guest Timmy Mallett set to appear live on stage.

Ann-marie Doggett - owner of Magnus PR - runs unique events across Suffolk and Norfolk - which have included themed party cruises along the River Waveney.

And after the marketing and events agency based in Oulton Broad, Lowestoft celebrated its fifth anniversary of business in September last year with special guest DJ Ironik entertaining as part of an R'n'B birthday cruise, it is preparing for an itsy bitsy festive treat.

Mrs Doggett said: "The evening will feature everything 80's-themed—from cocktails to music, entertainment a photo booth and much more.

"Special guest Timmy Mallett will be live on stage with a special Wacaday show, including his famous game 'Mallett's Mallet' and he'll also perform his number one hit 'Itsy Bitsy', followed by meet-and-greets."

Mr Mallett said: "I'm really looking forward to this utterly brilliant event at the Pavilion Theatre."

Having first shot to fame in the early 1980s when he joined TV-am interviewing musicians and bands of the day, Timmy Mallett's children's show 'Wacaday' was first broadcast in 1985.

In August 1990 he released the song 'Itsy Bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini' with the band Bombalurina which reached Number 1 in the UK singles chart.

Mrs Doggett added: "This is perfect for those who are looking for something a little different for their work's Christmas party, and with the loss of the Ocean Room I wanted to offer people a great night out and an alternative to the usual Christmas Parties.

"It's just a silly night of 80's fun — who doesn't love that?"
