An 11-year-old girl who became stuck under a slide at a village park was rescued.
Emergency services were called to Lakenheath Pavilion Park in Eriswell Road, Lakenheath, at about 12pm on Sunday to reports of a girl stuck in a crawling hole underneath a slide.

Upon arrival, they found that the girl was trapped and despite attempts from people to pull her free, she was unable to get out of the crawling hole.
Crews then unbolted the slide and cut part of the structure open to free her.

The youngster was freed about 20 minutes after the rescue began and she left the scene unharmed.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service crews from Brandon and Mildenhall carried out the rescue.
